Looking for a New Spectator Sport? Try This One

It is now less than 24 hours until the 81st running of the Hambletonian, harness racing's most prestigious race, and I am so excited I can barely type. What's that you say? This post has nothing to do with the law? You are right. It's Friday afternoon, in August, and there aren't a whole lot of judges, lawyers or witnesses working out there. So why not indulge?

If you haven't ever seen a harness race, tune in to CBS tomorrow afternoon to check out the Hambletonian. It's fast and exciting and full of interesting characters and noble horses. In fact, if you haven't already, you should check out harness racing online or at a track nearest to you. It's a great sport, a great hobby, and a great way to spend a few hours, whether you like to bet or not.

The big favorite for this year's race is named Mr. Pine Chip and he hasn't been beaten all year. He'll face tough competition from a horse named Chocolatier, who has a ton of speed, and from a horse named Here Comes Herbie, who has been racing really well lately. The purse for the race is $1.5 million. As for your favorite legal analyst, I am hosting along with my son our first ever Hambo party. No horses are expected to attend but my mother has committed to playing the role of pretend pari-mutualist, so that ought to be a hoot. Have a great weekend. Stay cool in the heat.

You are so friggin prolific that you come across a hyperkinetic idiot.

Nearly all of you posts are wrong on the facts, poorly informed and incredibly shallow reflexive leftist bilgewater

Has it occured to you why nobody bothers to comment on your garbage anymore (the few pro-Cohen posts I suspect you are writing yourself)

Stop wasting bandwidth. Get a grip.

Slow down. Nobody really cares what you think about horse racing anyway.
