Alert: Wintry Weather Risk Fading
The National Weather Service has cancelled the Winter Weather Advisory for the region as temperatures have now risen above freezing throughout. Radar currently shows a broken line of activity to the west that has lost strength crossing the mountains and models are now showing very little precipitation over the area. Any rain or wintry mix that does fall in the region should be very light and spotty even west of the city. It is possible that some slick spots may form on roadways in areas still near freezing that do receive precipitation, but this risk will be isolated.
See Matt's post for the forecast through the weekend.
