CommuteCast: Chilly, Drizzly Conditions Continue
Much warmer Tuesday with some showers
Areas of drizzle and light rain that have plagued the area today will continue this afternoon. Though most places will see very little measurable precipitation, it will be enough to keep things damp. High temperatures today have only reached the mid and upper 40s most places thanks to high pressure to our north funneling cold air in the region. The commute home will feature wet roads in many areas, so extra caution is advised.
Tonight: Clouds and scattered showers will continue through the night, but as with today, many locations will not see large amounts of precipitation. Temperatures will not fall much from highs today, and may even warm a little late night, as southerly winds increase ahead of a cold front moving towards the area. Lows should hit the mid or upper 40s prior to any warming.
Tomorrow: The cool air of today will be a memory tomorrow as southerly winds pump warmer air into the region. Clouds will still be thick during much of the day and some showers are likely, with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. High temperatures will make it into the upper 60s for many locations, and a few 70+ degree readings are possible from D.C. and southeast.

Wet noodle-rama outside, lemme tell you.
I hate it. It's 47 and dreary/foggy. If it were 60 and dreary/foggy I'd be happy. But it's not. It's 47.
And I have the hiccups from hell to add on top of that. Sometimes I'll hiccup twice in a row really really fast. Usually it's about 7-10 a minute. I get them BAD. But I haven't had them in a year.
When all else fails, blame it on the weather. DARN YOU WEATHER FOR CAUSING MY SYNCHRONOUS DIAPHRAMATIC FLUTTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just waiting for the 70s...and the thunderstorms.
A blizzard would be nice too. :) But I can wait 8 months on that one.

Dreary drizzle continues...
CRWS jet stream update per GFS 12Z. Main jet still to our north. Still dreary. One heck of a CAD setup.
Canadian lightning update: Large strike field from MI to TX. Most frequent strike activity in OK. Isolated outlier strikes in CO, IA, and FL.
Big rain event still in forecast for my Friday night dance but timing could be an issue.
