Cold tonight; a little warmer on Wednesday
*Frost Advisory far north and west from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. Wednesday*
The storm system responsible for yesterday's tornadoes in Virginia, and even some late-season snow in the mountains of West Virginia this morning, has now moved completely through the area. Clearing skies throughout the day have been accompanied by northwest winds gusting as high as 20-25 mph at times. High temperatures that have reached the upper 50s and low 60s are close to 10 degrees below average for the date.
Tonight: Overnight, lows will be quite cold across the region. Temperatures will hit the low to mid 40s in the District, while western and northern suburbs fall into the mid 30s. Winds will diminish overnight as high pressure builds into the area, and some isolated areas of frost are possible in the typically colder areas, so some extra caution with tender plants may be worth the effort.
Tomorrow: Wednesday will be mostly sunny and a little warmer across the area, but still fairly cool for the end of April. Expect highs to top out in the low 60s across the entire region.

If you look back through our forecasts, you'll see the chance for showers today (at least according to us) was never that great (30-40%), mainly in the morning, and spotty at that.
