CommuteCast: The Return of Sunshine
The clouds that have covered the sky for the past several days have finally broken up this afternoon. Temperatures have responded to the emerging sunshine, reaching the upper 60s and lower 70s. Expect a mix of clouds and sun this afternoon and evening as the low pressure plaguing the region moves farther away.
Tonight: After partly cloudy skies this evening, fog will form across parts of the area towards dawn. By morning, there may be areas of dense fog that produce some drizzle. Temperatures are expected to fall to low 50s outside the city and the mid 50s in D.C.
Tomorrow: Wednesday will bring relief to those missing the sun. Morning fog and clouds will give way to a mostly clear sky while temperatures rise into the low or mid 70s across the entire area.
See Matt's full forecast through the weekend.

Being a sufferer of allergies, I have checked out the link on the left side about pollen. I find the forecast very helpful, but is there a site that any of the CWG knows about that also provides the type of allergens involved (For example, oak trees)? Thanks!

Peter -- National Weather Service every once in awhile provides a bogus icon (like the snow icons you saw). They are working on the problem as we speak.

Model Monkey: Pollen.com does give the primary pollens beneath its forecast. Is there something else you're looking for?

Temperature-wise, it is gorgeous outside. Before bed, make sure you get out for a stroll around the block, everyone!!
