Today brought more in the way of damp and chilly weather to the area. Highs have only reached the mid and upper 40s -- about 15 degrees below average -- as drizzle has finally given way to just cloudy skies in most towns. The drive home this evening will be mostly dry, but isolated areas of continuing drizzle are possible.

Tonight: Clouds will continue to cover the area overnight, and drizzle will make another appearance by midnight, then last into the morning hours. Temperatures will not move too much from highs today, falling into the low and mid 40s across the entire area.

Tomorrow: Drizzle and clouds will be present early, but conditions should begin to improve by mid-day as the easterly flow off the water begins to loosen its hold on the area. By afternoon, drizzle should end, and temperatures are expected to climb a little higher than Monday, into the mid and upper 50s across the area. A few peeks of sunshine are also possible late, especially west of the District.

See the NatCast for tonight's game at Nationals Park and Jason's forecast through the rest of the week.

I get two months off of work and my hopes were for the following:

1) A Blizzard - nope
2) Any snow - nope
3) Warm Weather in March - nope - not really.
4) A least a nice final week before I return to work - nope
