Under variably cloudy skies that have dropped an isolated sprinkle or two, another cool day has unfolded across the area. Afternoon highs are closing in on 60 degrees just about everywhere, and will stay steady before slowly falling back through the 50s during the drive home.

Tonight: Clouds will decrease this evening, and it will be mostly clear for a time. As a warm front moves through, clouds will again increase late tonight or toward morning. Lows will once more be chilly, but not as cold as last night. Mid to upper 40s should do it in the city and points southeast, with some low 40s possible north and west.

Tomorrow: Thursday will begin with some clouds, and a few passing light showers are possible in the morning, but most of the rainfall should stay north of the area. Throughout the day, the region will break into increasingly sunny skies. Sunshine, combined with a southerly flow of warm air, will allow temperatures to rise into the low 70s across most of the region.
