Forecast: Sunny, Dry Conclusion to Work Week
But clouds, showers may punctuate weekend
Delightful conditions will round out your work week, with full sunshine and above-average temperatures in the upper 70s to near 80. Warning: Your urge to leave the office early on Friday may be higher than usual. Unfortunately, as is sometimes the case, more unsettled weather looks to arrive just in time for the weekend.
Sunny and warm. Upper 70s. Early-morning temperatures in the upper 50s will rise quickly, reaching the upper 70s by mid-afternoon thanks to full sunshine. There will be a light breeze of 5-10 mph from the north. A few locations, especially south of town may hit the 80-degree mark.
Clear and comfortable tonight with lows dropping to the mid 50s downtown, near 50 in the suburbs.
Confidence: High
Sunny and mild. Near 80. Friday's weather will closely mimic the conditions we experience today. Look for mostly sunny skies and a light breeze from the south. Temperatures in most places will be in the upper 70s to near 80, though I would not be shocked if we see some readings in the low 80s. Friday night, partly cloudy a chance of a shower and mild overnight lows near 60.
Confidence: High
Keep reading for the forecast through the weekend into the start of next week. See NatCast for the forecast for tonight's game at Nationals Park.
A LOOK AHEAD
It looks as though a frontal system may lurk around the region during much of the weekend, leading to plenty of clouds and possibly some showers and thunderstorms.
Much of the day Saturday may be dry, though mostly cloudy, with highs in the mid to upper 70s. But some showers and thunderstorms could develop (50% chance) during the afternoon or evening. Overnight, mostly cloudy with a continued chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the mid 50s. Confidence: Medium
Shower chances, while diminished, could stick around for Sunday. Highs should be near 70 under mostly cloudy skies. Sunday night, shower chances may be on the increase again as the next low-pressure system approaches. Lows in the low to mid 50s.
Confidence: Low-Medium
We may start the week with continued predominately cloudy skies on Monday and a chance for more wet weather, but forecast confidence is rather low at this point. Expect highs in the upper 60s. Confidence: Low-Medium

Why does it have to rain every weekend? So much for getting any yard work, long bike rides, or kickball in. Ever.

Hooray for allergies not being as bad today as they were yesterday. They're still bad, but I don't have the horrific throbbing headache today. :)
The rest of today and tomorrow look pretty nice. I wouldn't mind a thunderstorm this weekend, if any of you CWG guys can pull a few strings... *cough cough* ;P
