CommuteCast: Superb Spring Conditions Continue
More gorgeous weather Tuesday
A beautiful day has unfolded across the area as temperatures have risen to very near seasonal averages in the low 70s. Expect variably cloudy skies to last through the rest of the afternoon, trending to mostly clear this evening. Temperatures will fall back through the 60s around and after sunset.
Tonight: Clear skies and low dew points will allow temperatures to fall into the low 50s downtown and the mid to upper 40s in the suburbs.
Tomorrow: Another gorgeous day is shaping up for Tuesday. Clear skies will lead to more near-average warmth throughout the area. Expect temperatures to be a few degrees warmer than today, with most locations rising into the mid 70s.

NWS's marine forecast calls it NW winds 5-10kt tomorrow, becoming SW in the evening. CBOFS has the wind stepping up and clocking around pretty suddenly to Easterly in the early afternoon, around 2pm; an usual time for wind to pick up in this area. Can someone from CWG comment on the disparity, and what conditions are more likely, NW or E winds? I'm a little nervous since I haven't run the motor for the 5 1/2 months the boat's been on land. If it conks out south of the Wilson Bridge just at the same time the wind shifts, guess I'll spend the night at National Harbor. ;-)
