One Last Batch of Storminess
Actually, two batches.
One tracking to the north of D.C., now moving from west to east through southern Montgomery County and into northern Prince Georges County, soon headed for the northern half of Anne Arundel county. Also, some diminishing showers and storms well to the north, tracking west to east through Carroll and Baltimore counties. Gusty winds and small hail are possible with these storms, but no severe warning are currently in effect.
And the other, a more solid area of precipitation well to the south with the strongest storms now moving from west to east out of Stafford County and through Charles and St. Marys counties. No severe warnings are currently in effect with this batch.

This should be the last of the precipitation, save for a lingering shower or two. Skies begin to clear later tonight as cooler air filters in for the next several days.

EXPIRED ALERTS
11:25 PM: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect until 12:15 a.m. for northern Montgomery County and Howard County, where there could be penny-sized hail and wind gusts to 60 mph.
