Report: Britney Gives Birth

A preggo Britney introduces husband K-Fed at August's Teen Choice Awards. (AP)

The National Enquirer (I know, I know) is reporting that Britney Spears gave birth around 2 a.m. this morning to a second son. The report is short on details and credibility, so if anyone spots any corroboration or updates, please add to the comments section.

From the Enquirer:
"Kevin took Britney to the hospital in the evening hours of Sept. 11 to prepare for the Cesarean birth," an insider said. Only her mother Lynn, and her sister Jamie Lynn were present at the birth. None of Kevin's family was there.

"...None of Kevin's family was there."

Perhaps they are getting tired of this too. It isn't like it is difficult to get someone pregnant; it is difficult to be a father!

Now, what doctor would schedule a Cesarean at 2am? I don't believe it.

Perez Hilton is confirming, citing US Weekly as his source.

Cesarean, eh?

Well, so much for the big comeback with the low-cut pants. The girl has that one asset and now it's gone. Yikes.

Essential reading ,once again

heckuva job, Lizzie

Bunkley: Her previous birth was reportedly a C-section as well, and in most procedures these days, only a small scar remains.

However, the stretch marks from the pregnancy got rid of that asset long before the birth. You see lots of celeb moms with their pre-baby weight off very quickly- but you never see their lower abs uncovered.

What's the over/under for how soon Brit-Brit gets knocked up again? She's kind of like a tribble in that respect, don't you think? Now if only K-Fed was a Klingon...

Any info on whether or not a bear skin rug was involved?

Isn't Preston's birthday also Sept. 12?

I hope they're saving their money. These kids are going to need years and years of psychotherapy before they reach high school age.

I've heard that celebs schedule c-sections so that they can give birth earlier to avoid much of the the last-month stretch marks and weight gain, and that they often schedule a tummy tuck at the same time... not sure how true that is. And Brit let herself go so badly I am not sure that either would help her!

Let her self go? Yeesh, Vanity Fair much? She looked better naked at 6 months pregnant than most women do at their peak before they drop the first diaper bomber.

If she can't return to teeny bopper mode, and after back to back pregnancies, fabulous. The pop scene could use a legitimately hot buxom type, rather than another anorexic skank.

I don't care how well they re-stretch her belly skin, after back to back pregnancies, that backside ain't squeezing into hip huggers the same way ever again. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing.
