TomKat Moving to Virginia?

News radio station WTOP and another local paper are both reporting that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes may be finalizing a deal to purchase a $22 million home in Upperville, Va.

The 1,100 acre Loudoun County farm boasts several barns, ponds and other horsey-set/landed gentry type accoutrements.

As of this writing, Rick Lowe with the real estate agency representing the home says there is no confirmation that rumors surrounding Cruise and Holmes as the potential purchasers are true.

Cruise and Holmes wouldn't be Loudoun's first bold name residents: Robert Duvall has made his home there for years.

Update: The Examiner debunked their own gossip the following day with this story, denying that Tom and Katie will be taking up residence in Virginia. -- 12:16 p.m. ET, 10/6/06

Just a matter of time before the first crop circle appears...

L Ron said nothing of crop circles. Do beware of snakes in a mail box!

Nooooooooo! Next thing you know, they'll run for office.

Go away TomKat... we don't want you here!

Much as Superman had his fortress of solitude where he would gather strength to fight evil, TomKat will have the Loudoun Estate to plot the final assault on the forces of Lord Xenu.

No doubt the staff will have instructions to NEVER serve clams to TomKat.

This is such a beautiful estate, and a great quiet area with folks who will leave them alone. Good for them! They'll love it.

Just keep them away from me!

No, no, nooooooo! Please stay away and let some of us US citizens live in peace without having to see a nasty 40+year-old in a leather jacket, and a no-brain 27-year-old loser, smooching their faces off while one has herpes.

gross! Poor us!

Please say it isn't so. YUCK! If he does, someone should take a poop in his mailbox..bronze that!
