Bipolar Rosie is on a roll, ain't she? Wasn't it just last month that she laughed off Danny DeVito being drunk on air, and now she's railing about Miss USA getting sucked into the Manhatten party scene? Barbara Walters can't kick Rosie to the curb fast enough, although I wonder if ratings will beat controversy there. For that matter, how ARE the ratings for The View these days?

What are the chances of getting both the Donald and Rosie to shut up? I know getting them to go out of the spotlight is a stretch but if they could just shut up.
Jessica the perfectionist, bless her. She wanted the performance to be perfect for Dolly, that is so sweet. Maybe she should have learned the words in the first place and showed up for rehersals. Doing that might have been a better honor than not knowing the words, running off stage and flubbing the second performance.
Best mannered, Taylor Hicks, WTF. That sounds like something his fourth grade teacher would say. That mess can't be real.
I echo KG's comment. Hopefully the Paris piece is just a wild rumor. The soulful stylings of her angelic voice simply can not, should not, end so soon. That is a great loss if it is indeed true ........ I need a moment to compose, sniff, sniff, sniff. The only consolation is that she will continue acting.

Hooray! Paris has had a brief moment of clarity and realized that she has no future in music. Now, she needs to realize that she has no talent in acting or, apparently, not much else. Now that's hot!
My hope for 2007 is that all of our favorite no-talent "celebrities" (Britney, Nicole, Lindsay, et al) will also have moments of clarity and realize that their escapades (underage drinking, DUIs. DWIs, too thin, no underwear, illiteracy, etc.) have worn thin. I know that's asking too much but ....

Why can't Rosie O'Donnell use real words and complete sentences in her blog? What is she, 13?

Q: "What are the chances of getting both the Donald and Rosie to shut up?"
A: One in ten-followed-by-there-ain't-enough-zeroes-in-all-of-mathematics.

I think this is my favourite part of that article about Pink & her wool protest:
"You know, Pink is entitled to her views, but at the end of the day would Australia's farmers take advice from Pink?"
And I say....um....no. I wouldn't take advice from her either.

Well, I think LL was making a living acting before becoming LiLo and PH displays a flair and a talent for PR and market timing if nothing else. Besides, if she just ends up doing nothing, think how much harm a bored airhead with $30M could do.

Liz, just a suggestion for one of your Friday lists. Websites that are safe to visit while at work when you're bored due to being uber productive all year long. If anyone has a suggestion lemme know.

I've long wondered why people aren't more aware of the cruelty behind wool. I'm glad someone is trying to raise awareness about that. (Sure, it would be nice if it were someone besides Pink, but I still think it will save some sheep and open some eyes.)

I am wearing a fuzzy wool sweater right now, haha Pink take that!
Caroldc-When I get bored at work I go to People.com and take their style/fashion poll. Such a good waste of time!

Why is Rosie so judgemental?? Let's judge her for a minute, she has a fat mouth, a fat face, a fat but...oh wait, she's just plain FAT, FAT, FAT!! Basically, like all of us humans, she's far from perfect. She shouldn't be judging Kelly, Danny, Donald or anyone else for that matter. Does anyone remember Rosie when she used to be a so-called stand up comedian? Her routines were far being on moral high ground.

Some things I must know before I the year is out, who signed Paris Hilton to a record deal and is that person still working? Who ACTUALLY brought a Paris Hilton CD?
Posted by: Lisa | December 22, 2006 11:47 AM
Bought a CD? What is this concept of which you speak? How does this CD get through the little wires on your computer?
Posted by: Stick | December 22, 2006 12:27 PM
Lisa, check out the amazon reviews for Paris's album (and I use that term lightly and incorrectly cause it's a cd). I think some of these people did actually buy the thing. They aren't as funny as the Hoff's reviews but I think a couple people actually liked it there were some 5 star entries.

I'm beyond upset that Paris is giving up on her singing career. I feel like I was just beginning to understand the depths of her craft and now she's taking it away from me. Paris, if in some bizarre parallel universe you're reading this blog - it's criminal to deny us the beauty of your song.
PS I'm going to need a lot of entertainment to make it through this last day before vacation so, guys, don't let me down here.
