"We have no findings to suggest anyone famous was involved in the accident," said a police spokesman..."

What? Is this what the police usually investigate?

Posted by: Re: Tom Cruise Movie Accident | August 20, 2007 8:37 AM

if the polizei actually said that, it was probably in response to some hard hitting journalistic query like, "was anyone famous injured in the accident?"

re: britney sans extensions...it's the most normal she's looked in a long time.

Posted by: methinks | August 20, 2007 9:09 AM

I cant believe what im about to type...

Britney Spears looks good!

Posted by: dolly72 | August 20, 2007 9:18 AM

Britney looks a gagillion times better.

Posted by: Anonymous | August 20, 2007 9:19 AM

I also think Britney looks adorable!

Posted by: Noelle | August 20, 2007 9:24 AM

Am I looking at the correct pic? There's no way her hair grew that much in 6 mos.

Posted by: WDC | August 20, 2007 9:24 AM

my hair would grow that much in three months.

Posted by: methinks | August 20, 2007 9:32 AM

Reality to Donald Trump - stop trying to get so called "A" list celebrities, I'm sure Gary Coleman's free; what about the cast of Saved By The Bell?

Reality to Movie Producers - FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, STOP PUTTING JESSICA SIMPSON IN MOVIES. SHE IS A VERY BAD ACTRESS!!!!!!!!!!

And as for Brit Brit, she does look normal for a change, but why does her hair look orange?

Posted by: Anonymous | August 20, 2007 9:44 AM

No. Brit does not look "good" or "adorable", she just doesn't look like fried buttcheek. I realize we're working with a sliding scale here, but still...if anything, it's a wholly unremarkable appearance.

Posted by: 23112 | August 20, 2007 9:45 AM

Why wouldn't her hair have grown that much in six months? It's still pretty short, WDC.

Posted by: Anonymous | August 20, 2007 9:45 AM

She looks way gooder...

Posted by: Anonimis | August 20, 2007 9:51 AM

I'm no fan of Lindsey Lohan's, but this is a new low. Taking pictures of her while she's in rehab?! C'mon! And what about the other people who are trying to focus on getting their heads straight? What about their privacy? This is detrimental to their recovery and hers, seriously. Sorry, but I include celebritology in this, 'cause it's posted here. There has to be a line drawn somewhere.

Posted by: Anonymous | August 20, 2007 9:52 AM

The pictures were not taken inside the rehab facility, they were taken in a public place, no one should expect any sense privacy while in a public place, even if they are on a rehab field trip. That said, why would the facility sanction this event knowing that their celebrity client would probably have the papz on her tail as soon as they left the facility?

I knew Prince William and Kate would end up together. Probably won't get engaged until after the anniversary of Princess Di's death, though.
Britney will never retain the short hair. She is way too insecure. And how many famous women wear their hair short? It seems the style these days is long, skanky, and fake.

Posted by: POS | August 20, 2007 10:11 AM

I agree, 23112: she looks normal, but not great. She actually looks like a middle-aged soccer mom trying to look young and hip. The orangey-yellow hair dye not so good for her. And hair grows an inch or two every two months. Her hair easily could be that long.

Posted by: Anonymous | August 20, 2007 10:22 AM

Like I said, am I looking at the right picture? The one linked to her name is her and the new boyfriend and it's a black, longish bob. Someone commented that it looks orange, so I obviously am looking at the wrong pic.

Posted by: WDC | August 20, 2007 10:42 AM

Okay, found it. Makes more sense now. Still looks strange, but beats the fake hair.

Posted by: WDC one last time. | August 20, 2007 10:43 AM

He said fried buttcheek. Heh heh. Heh heh heh.

I hope Kate Middleton doesn't marry in that loony royal family. She deserves better than those trailer-trash royals.

Posted by: Lisa1 | August 20, 2007 11:05 AM

The Wills and Kate thing is in rumor mill. It can't be true. First of all, the Royal Family always spends August at Balmoral. Second, this close to the anniversary, no way is Wills going on a vacation -- especially warm where there can be pics comparing this vacation to the one 10 years ago.

Posted by: ep | August 20, 2007 11:10 AM

"No. Brit does not look "good" or "adorable", she just doesn't look like fried buttcheek. I realize we're working with a sliding scale here, but still...if anything, it's a wholly unremarkable appearance."

I disagree. You're right in the sense that we are working with a sliding scale here, but it is also true that celebrities are held to a very high standard. It's unfair, in my opinion. If I saw this girl on the street, I'd think she was very cute. Not beautiful, but certainly not bad to look at either.

Posted by: Noelle | August 20, 2007 11:25 AM

The yellowish-orange color isn't hair dye, Brit just ran her fingers through it after eating Cheetos.

Posted by: Snarky McSnarkerson | August 20, 2007 11:30 AM

ha!

Posted by: Anonymous | August 20, 2007 11:34 AM

ROTFLMAO!

Posted by: b | August 20, 2007 11:39 AM

"If I saw this girl on the street, I'd think she was very cute. Not beautiful, but certainly not bad to look at either."

So Noelle is working hard to rationalize her sudden feelings for the new Cheetos-hair Britney. Hmmm. What would Freud say?

Posted by: MisterBear | August 20, 2007 11:46 AM

He'd say, "Pass that vial on over here and let's get this party started." Lol

Posted by: Helena Handbasket | August 20, 2007 11:51 AM

Sliding scale, definitely ... Brit looks better than her usual appearance of being a skanked-out, dirty trainwreck. But then again, I can't think of a single celebrity who doesn't look better au naturel. And I totally agree re. the short hair -- it's such a great look and so few are secure enough to wear it. Victoria Beckham's the only one I can think of who didn't glue on extensions 5 minutes after getting an adorable short 'do.

If I was in rehab, Lindsay Lohan's the last person I'd want on my raft. Seems like she'd be a terrible team member and not one anyone could depend on.

AP: "The fact that all the other teams closed up on us, largely down to the rules being tweaked to try to reduce BMW's advantage. I know they only want to make it more interesting, but giving the diesels a miniscule penalty despite them having a lot more power went against us quite a lot. The last three years we've been on top, so I was just really trying to be the best BMW driver in order to win the title. This year I've had to beat all the other cars too. I've already mentioned SEAT's diesel, and Chevrolet really got themselves sorted too. Six, seven wins&hellip that's as many as BMW managed. Where were they in the title fight though? That just shows what a good job we did." Q: What was the highlight? AP: "Obviously crossing the line in Macau to win the title is as good as it...http://huge-site.com/

1 quarterback before suffering a knee injury, is available in reserve. Coach Karl Dorrell has not entirely blamed injuries for his team's troubles, but said, "They have been a part of it... We need continuity. I think every offense and defense would love to have continuity from Game 1 through Game 11. As coaches, we would love that, but it is hard in this sport to have 11 players from start to finish on your team on either side of the ball." Oregon starts the game ranked fifth in rushing offense, fifth in total offense and eighth in scoring offense. That, though, was with Dixon at quarterback. Brady Leaf, who suffered a sprained left ankle against...http://coolnews-4u.com/
