Roger Moore was in Moonraker and he gets a star, while Sean Connery gets nothing? Something ain't right in Hollywood.

Don't feel bad Michael, The Hollywood Star is not so much an honor as it is something that is bought. I read that a few years ago and now whenever I see a "celebrity" get one, it never means much.

Posted by: jake e. poo | October 12, 2007 8:57 AM

michael, all you need to get Sean Connery a star is come up with $25,000 for the Hollywood Historic Trust and the get Connery to agree to show up at the presentation ceremony.

But I'm not sure that that alone will fix all the things that ain't right in Hollywood.

I love the quote in the Gene Simmons story:

"'I guess he failed to notice the wedding band on her left hand,' said our witness."

Yeah, *that* must have been it.

"Michael began crowing about his new girlfriend Erin, a Lindsay look-alike, and pictures of them surfaced in Utah"

Why is Michael Lohan dating a woman who looks like his daughter? No one Lindsay is screwed up; and why is the L.I. woman picking up men at the courthouse?

Isn't Kimberly Stewart in her mid-20s? Why does she look like the present-day Courtney Love? Granted, the plastic surgery helps, but it's only a matter of time before she starts looking like Joan Rivers.

The court ordered Tracy Morgan to give up alcohol but they said nothing about weed.

Posted by: Lisa1 | October 12, 2007 9:31 AM

Roger Moore was probably the best Bond of them all. He deserved the star.

Posted by: K-town | October 12, 2007 9:31 AM

Tracy Morgan wants you to live every week like it's shark week.

Posted by: Anonymous | October 12, 2007 9:42 AM

Roger Moore probably the best Bond. Ahhhhh, no. He would have to be behind Daniel and Sean, in that order.

Exactly what did Brit do to get visitation? I hear she's wanted for hit and run of that woman's car. Granted the fact that she passed a drug test had me shocked but come on now.

I disagree with the choice of Benicio as Che. Gael, (can't recall his last name at the moment but he was in Babel) would have been a better choice IMO.

Pleated pants, nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Did anyone tell Kimberly Stewart the nose job is supposed to make your nose look better? I don't really see an appreciable difference, maybe hers will need to be done in stages.

Posted by: jes | October 12, 2007 9:53 AM

I'm a bit confused. Wasn't it sleepovers with kids that got Michael Jackson in so much hot water?

So now Britney wants to have sleepovers with her own kids?? That sounds even more skeevy, considering she's usually without underwear.

Maybe the judge should order the child welfare folks to do a panty check before all slumber parties at Brit's place. That or she could just ask the paparazzi to do it.

Best Bond ever: David Niven

LOL, Lisa1

Posted by: jake e. poo | October 12, 2007 10:07 AM

Oh, yeah...who's Kimberly Stewart?

Posted by: jake e. poo | October 12, 2007 10:08 AM

petal, it's Gael Garcia Bernal, he played Che twice, in Motorcycle Diaries and in a mini-series about Castro. He is CALIENTE!!!! I loved him in Y Tu Mama Tambien and Perros Amores, he was also really good in The King, which is not about Elvis.

Posted by: Anonymous | October 12, 2007 10:11 AM

Tracy Morgan reminds me of a homeless dude or an Alzheimer patient talking to the air about hotdogs. He's not really looking at Conan or the audience.

I guess it was too much to hope for that Target would have Ziggy Stardust jumpsuits.

She's Rod Stewart's daughter.

Posted by: Not Kim Stewart | October 12, 2007 11:16 AM

That model in the Bowie article looks like a guy dressed as a woman who is trying to dress like a young glam rocker. I guess this means androgyny is making a comeback? Lol

Posted by: niceFLguy | October 12, 2007 11:23 AM

Thanks anonymous. I heard about the Motorcycle Diaries, just haven't had the chance to rent it. Why o why didn't the makers of this flick choose Gael?

Is it too much too hope for that Che has returned to us?

Posted by: petal | October 12, 2007 11:49 AM

I think the situation with Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan is sad and pathetic. There are 5 kids involved. Maybe we don't know the "full story," but it just seems like another case of people not thinking about anything beyond their own immediate gratification with 5 kids paying the price.

Posted by: sen | October 12, 2007 12:14 PM

Yep, sen, so true. I didn't even realize the cheater had officially divorced the first wife, he sure hadn't when he started romping with Rose McGowan. I hope a vasectomy is part of the prenup.

May I just say how thoroughly refreshing it was to read about Anna C. and how much she enjoys food? She looks fab, too. Skeletons take note ... food is good for you ...

Amy Sedaris is cute as a button, even in the weird getup.

Posted by: Californian | October 12, 2007 12:27 PM

Guess Rose McGowan is unfamiliar with the expression "If he'll do it with you, he'll do it to you."

Posted by: Anonymous | October 12, 2007 12:28 PM

Here's a name we haven't heard in a while

Glad I'm not the only one that remembers when Robert Rodriguez basically denied that Rose broke up the marriage.

Gene Simmons give me the squeems. Anyone see Fred Armisen's Gene Simmons on SNL last week? He had that stupid leer down!

Posted by: Bored @ home | October 12, 2007 1:12 PM

I thought Marilyn Manson was Rose McGowan "best friend" that was reason they became engaged.
