Byoolin, if that P-51 is set up the way other two-seater Mustangs that I've seen are, then the second seat is practically a jump seat behind the first, and the canopy is either unchanged or just slightly larger.

I'm really yucked out by the pics of Xtina: just because you're pregnant and beautiful does not mean you should go have preggo pinup pics taken! The Marie Claire cover was ok, but lolling around naked in bed.... If she weren't pregnant, that picture would just be trampy. I guess having a baby-bump really classes it up. I would probably be more tolerant of it if it were in a men's mag - then she would definitely have a target audience to appeal to - but in a women's coffee table mag? Not what I want to see in my ob/gyn's waiting room.

Janine has the beautiful bone structure required to wear her hair really short, she should not be a blonde however. I don't understand why really striking brunettes go blonde, I don't think she's as attractive as she could be.

re: janine (we're on a first name basis now...) i'm not convinced that's her hair. it looks like a wig and there are a lot of reasonably sane people who like to wear wigs for a change of pace. (i know name one...um...okay, i'll get back to you.) other than the hair, which was a disclaimer in my first post, i think janine looks great. yes, she's aged since that photo in her NE days, but who hasn't? and i think her nose looks the same. okay. enough of janine. she can fight her own battles.

It's simply the color that's doing nothing for her. And if you go to her IMDB pcitures page, you can see it's a pretty recent color change - she was rocking a deep auburn in October.

Also, the makeup she's wearing is geared towards her dark hair (check out the inset picture for a less dramatic version). It's too glaring with the platinum blond hair.

Someone just needs to tell her she needs to either change her hair back to brunette or change her makeup palette. Her skin looks fabulous and the entire outfit (you can see it at Go Fug Yourself) is age appropriate and classy.

Celebritology is a great resource for breaking from the workday grind...however, when you post an image in the Morning Mix, could you include a link to an article or whatever prompted you to put that image in there? I'd often like to read more information about whomever gets hilited in the photos, because they are often awards shows. Ex. Where's Janine Turner now? From a previous MM, What is Woody Allen's new movie about?

Also, not limited to your blog, it would be nice if the comment submission box was at the TOP of the comments, rather than the bottom. Sometimes there's a lot of scrolling to do before you can submit a comment.

As for Cruise's Mustang, I think 23112 is correct. Some models had an avionics and radio rack located directly behind the pilot's seat. I've seen several restored P-51s where the owner removed the equipment rack and fitted a tiny jump seat, about the size of an overturned bucket. The passenger has to be fairly small to sit back there (i.e., a typical 10-year-old or Katie Holmes) but it can be done.

Also, not to appear all fashion-geeky, but I think Katie looks mucho caliente and tres sophisticated in the People photo with the little black dress. Wow!
