Wow on the Kirk Douglas photo. And to think he's one of my Top 5 Old or Dead Dudes I'd Have Done in Their Prime (T5OODDIHDITP for short).

harrumph, harrumph, harvey korman!

you made "blazing saddles'" hedly lamarr one of the most memorable film characters ever. rest in peace, and thanks for years and years of laughs.

Did you really misspell Harvey Korman's name?

Posted by: Seriously? | May 30, 2008 8:48 AM

Clay Aiken:WTF!!!!
This is only response I can think of this early in the morning.

Posted by: Lisa1 | May 30, 2008 8:50 AM

Liz - please correct that misspelling asap. I thought I heard Matt Lauer refer to him as "Harry" this morning. I hope it was just my bad hearing.

Ditto what looooooost said.

Posted by: m.a.t. | May 30, 2008 9:10 AM

Sorry - I made a spelling error too. I meaeant to say "Ditto what looooooooooost said"

sheesh. Must be karma.

Couldn't care less about Lost. I stick to realistic dramatic shows. Not this wacky anything goes silly nonsense. Now I hear there is going to be some wild developments on Battlestar Galactica tonight.

Posted by: yellojkt | May 30, 2008 9:16 AM

Hooray, no more Lost for a good long while! Where is the chat for BSG?

Posted by: michael | May 30, 2008 9:24 AM

If Clay Aiken is going to be a daddy, will Randy Travis be the kid's godparent?

And since Clay is so super-potent, maybe Paul Wentz should demand a paternity test from Flashlee.

Sad about Harvey Korman. . ."Don't get saucy with ME Bearnaise!" (History of the World pt. 1)

Posted by: jelo | May 30, 2008 9:40 AM

Ah, someone beat me to the "Don't get saucy" line - something we still use in our family.

RIP Mr. Korman - and Liz - change the spelling!

Look you Lost-ees, you get your own chat, you get your on p.m.post, why do you insist on ruining this for the rest of us. Please refrain from the lost talk on the morning mix. And speaking of Clay Aiken, please explain what was the point of pointing out that the pregancy was due to artificial insemination and that the Baby Mama is "just a friend", it just yells..."I'M GAY".

The Great Gazoo, R.I.P.

Harvey Korman will be missed, I rember him from the Carol Burnett show.

Agreed Michael, agreed.

Even after her Costa Rican vacation Brit still isn't ready for court yet. I find that shocking.

Clay Aiken to be a dad, wow just wow.

Flashlee seems to be keeping the inner child happy.

Posted by: beaker | May 30, 2008 10:14 AM

Harvey Korman was definitely one of the all-time greats. I watched the Carol Burnett show DEVOTEDLY and he never failed to crack me up. Lots of good memories.

While Steven Tyler is rehabbing his feet, do you think they could also do something about the, you know, face?

Friday shout-out to The Swayze. Love you! Keep fighting!

Just when you thought Clay Aiken couldn't BE any gayer, he artificially inseminates a woman with a mans name.

So Britney is too ill to be in curt, but she wants her own sitcom and has a role in one already? Nice to know her priorities are in order.

Posted by: Anonymous | May 30, 2008 10:28 AM

I'm sorry, non-Lost lovers, I recognize it can be annoying. But at the same time, I'm so happy to have found a group of rabid fans that sometimes it's hard to wait a few hours to discuss the show!

So onto other news... ScarJo's album bombs. Do you think it would have done better if Gene's favorite picture was the cover?

Posted by: RiverCityRoller | May 30, 2008 10:30 AM

I actually listened to some of ScarJo's album on iTunes and it is just like everyone says...you can barely hear her over the music and then it sounded like she was screeching. I wouldn't have downloaded this if it was free. And I'm all about free.

Also, for you SATC fans I did see a prescreening of the movie the other night, its pretty good, though it drags a little in the middle, don't think you'll be disappointed. Though I still don't understand why Jennifer Hudson was in it.

Posted by: jake e. poo | May 30, 2008 10:39 AM

RCR,
Nah, you can get that anywhere on the internet. Same for the music. Now if she would come over to my house in a bikini and sing it to me in person...

Posted by: yellojkt | May 30, 2008 10:39 AM

Scarlett Johannson is getting exactly what she deserves. Her CD was a totally unnecessary vanity project. For starters who wants to hear Tom Wait covers. Second, the music was so over filtered and backtracked it was hard to tell she was actually singing. Other than that, she has a smoking body.

Posted by: Anonymous | May 30, 2008 10:42 AM

At this point the only people who don't realize Clay Aiken is gay are Liberace fans.

Posted by: Anonymous | May 30, 2008 10:44 AM

Clay Aiken?! Dear God, let that be false.

Isn't Steven Tyler a drummer? Couldn't he just, you know, sit there and play?

Everyone else already got the best Harvey Korman lines. (The Great Gazoo! I'd forgotten that.) RIP, Ratt Butler.

PGM, I think a T5OODDIHDITP list (or old or dead women, I'll be fair) would be a fun Friday list idea.

I came up with
Paul Newman
Steve McQueen
Cary Grant
Marlon Brando (seriously - but prime only)
Booby Kennedy
