Celebritology Archive: Lindsay Lohan
Another day, another rat jumps off the USS Lindsay Lohan
As regular Celebritology reader LuvLinsey would certainly agree, it's been a rough year for Lindsay Lohan: She's been confused with Donatella Versace, her acting career is all but dead in the water, her relationship with Samantha Ronson seems to be pretty much over and her dad has made a cottage industry out of selling his estranged family's private phone conversations. And now Emmanuel Ungaro is jockeying to distance himself from Lohan's disastrous pasty-filled collection debut at October's Paris Fashion Week. The designer, who sold the Ungaro fashion house in 2005, said he had nothing to do with the deal that brought in Lohan's influence. One of Lohan's Ungaro-branded creations. (Maria Valentino for The Washington Post) "Lindsay Lohan's collaboration was a disaster," said Ungaro. "I am furious but I can't do anything about it." Ungaro told press at a film festival in Lisbon, Spain that the fashion house bearing his name...

Gallery: The changing face of Lindsay Lohan
I'm hardly the only one to remark that Lindsay Lohan is looking a bit older than her 23 years of late. Some speculate that Lilo is the victim of an overzealous collagen injector, while her own dad suspects a little too much partying. Whatever the case, it's not the first time Lohan's looks have raised red flags. Earlier this week, Lilo made the unfortunate mistake of sharing a red carpet with the ossified Donatella Versace and the similarities between the two were, well, striking. Today, we track Lindsay Lohan's changing look -- from her debut as a kid star to her bottle blond, fake bake current incarnation. Click here or on the image below to launch the gallery: Donatella Versace (left) and Lindsay Lohan. (AP)...

Lilo's Latest Fashion Flop
Lindsay Lohan (right) and designer Estrella Arch walk the runway after the debut of the Ungaro collection. (Getty Images) This weekend, Lindsay Lohan made her runway debut at Paris Fashion Week with Ungaro's spring/summer/hell freezes over 2010 collection. And, as chroniclers of Lilo's fashion career will know, this is only the latest in a string of Lohan's attempts to spread her hooker Barbie aesthetic. Lohan's first foray into the fashion world was in 2008 with her line of 6126 Leggings. Designs included leggings with convenient built-in kneepads. She recently starred -- along with a stripper pole -- in a new ad campaign for this year's offerings. As if covering one's legs in ill-used lycra weren't enough, Lohan's next attempt to suffocate or otherwise poison one's skin in the name of fashion came in the form of Sevin Nyne Tanning Mist, which I product tested with disastrously orange results earlier...

Poetic Justice: Lindsay Lohan, Birthday Girl
Lindsay Lohan at her Vegas birthday fest/tanning lotion promotion. (Getty Images) Lest we forget, this week we celebrate an important American milestone: Lindsay Lohan's birthday. The one-time tween star turned tabloid darling will be 23 (which is like 87 in Lohan years). Lilo has already kicked off the festivities -- she was reportedly paid $70,000 to host a pool party at Las Vegas's MGM Grand. Today we'll join in the fun by making Lohan our muse. Compose your poetic birthday wishes to Lindsay below. Haiku, double dactyl, Seuss-ian, free verse -- your choice. Just keep your submission to 12 lines or shorter. The best submission (which will be determined by the highly scientific formula of me guffawing and taking your faves into consideration) will win a coveted May 1984 (Note: Lilo wasn't even born yet) issue of Tiger Beat/Star featuring Duran Duran's Nick Rhodes on the cover, a hard-hitting...

Clip 'n Save: Lindsay Lohan, Repeat Offender
Update: A judge this morning threw out the warrant after Lohan's counsel reportedly produced evidence of compliance. We stand by our advice, though -- Lilo may have won this battle, but the war is starting to look like a prolonged occupation. -- 12:29 p.m. ET ----- Lilo and stylist Rachel Zoe at New York Fashion Week. Designer Matthew Williamson looks on. (Getty Images) Lindsay Lohan is facing an arrest warrant for violating the terms of her probation for a 2007 DUI conviction. No official word, but rumor has it the violations include breaching driving restrictions by driving to Las Vegas and missing court-ordered alcohol education classes. Lohan reportedly blames the paparazzi for the latter. Sometime Celebritology contributor Lisa Todorovich and I are shaking our heads and wondering how it is we failed so badly back in 2006. Lohan was the subject of our very first Clip 'n Save, back in...

How Webby is Michael Lohan?
Screen capture from MichaelLohanOnline.com. Would celebrities exist without a complement of hangers-on or would they, like the ephemeral dreams clad in leggings they are, simply evaporate from lack of adulation? I posit that the varied remoras which populate the ocean of celebrity as assistants, spouses, paparazzi and skeletal stylists may be just as important as the big fish to which they cling. Which is why today we will take a look at little fish Michael Lohan's latest project, a Web site. There's no need for you to personally surf on over to Lohan's -- father of erstwhile Disney darling and questionably sapphic deejay aficionado Lindsay -- site yourself. Though it does have a certain DIY charm, the automatically launching soundtrack of Don Henley's "Dirty Laundry" is enough to make this site a no-no for workplace surfers. But, if you insist on having a peek, here is a link. You'll...
