Ad Watch: Romney on the Radio
We realize that Channel '08 is a blog about the 2008 election on video, but it's always interesting to see the presidential campaigns use YouTube to distribute radio ads to reporters -- and interested supporters -- quickly and on the cheap. The Romney campaign has done just that once again. A new radio ad, called "Exceptional," starts running today in Iowa and New Hampshire. Camp Romney says it "focuses on the issue of sanctuary city policies and the enforcement of existing immigration laws," and it outlines the former governor's track record on immigration.
This is indeed part of the Romney campaign's strategy to hit Rudy Giuliani hard on the immigration issue, as Dan Balz and Michael D. Shear reported last week.

I absolutely agree with Mitt Romney on this issue. Cities within the United States that do not abide by Federal Law should have some serious consequences. I cannot comprehend how Rudy Guiliani can talk about illegal immigration when under his own administration established sactuaries for them.
