Labor Day Highlights
Various presidential campaigns have posted, and will be posting Labor Day campaign highlights online today. As The Post's political team reports today Clinton, Edwards, Obama, McCain, and Romney marched in parades, picked up key endorsements, and shook hundreds of hands.
Barack Obama spoke to a large crowd in Manchester, N.H. ...
John Edwards picked up endorsements from steel workers and mine workers...
... and Mitt Romney jogged through a parade shaking hands. It was one of the best examples of staying on message. In this case, the message is "energy," as portrayed in his most recent TV ad. As this YouTube clip demonstrates, TV reports played right into the message.
