Edwards Goes for the Granite
As John Edwards returned for his 23rd visit to New Hampshire, he launched a new TV spot statewide today called "Power."
The former North Carolina senator, overlooking a snow-blanketed backyard, asks rhetorically what the next president will do "with the enormous power that comes with the office."
He lists his goals -- restoring America's "moral authority" and standing up "for people whose voices are ignored," to name a few. As orchestral music crescendos, he concludes, "The power that comes with the presidency of America comes from you."

When one is member of the Senate it is my opinion he would qualify as an insider.
He certainly doesn't have leadership experience to take on the mess our country is, and will be, in for years to come.

Wow a whole minute without John Edwards blinking - that must have been tough for him. For as long as I remember John Edwards blinks constantly when he talks. Ironically I think it was almost unnatural he didn't blink. I bet he tried really really hard not to. Does blinking have the connotation of dishonesty? Don't get me wrong I really like John Edwards and I would vote for him if he actually had a shot at winning.
