Obama Ads Appear in Nevada

Barack Obama has three new ads running in Nevada. Candidates on both sides are pouring blood, sweat and tears into this campaign and in particular, they're pouring money into campaign advertising.

The first ad from the obama camp is called President

This ad is a combination of Obama giving his victory speech in Iowa with other photos and videos spliced in. Within this 30-second spot, the Illinois Democratic senator makes promises of healthcare for all Americans, ending the war in Iraq and tax cuts for the middle class. He ends with his signature sign-off about change: "We are one Nation. And our time for change has come."

The next ad Nevada residents will see is Would

Photojournalism is the operative word in this ad. The use of black-and-white and color photographs tell the story of Barack Obama. The black and white photos symbolize Obama's history and record in the Senate, while the color photos show a bright, hopeful future if Obama were elected president.

Last, but probably not least, Obama's ad called Moment

"America, our moment is now." Obama brings the crowd to cheers with his rhetoric as someone who can lead America despite political divisions. This echoes his thoughts from the recent Las Vegas debate when NBC's Tim Russert asked the candidates what skills are more important in a President. Sen. Hillary Clinton said, "you have to be able to manage and run the bureaucracy," while Obama said "being president is not making sure that schedules are being run properly or that paperwork is being shuffled effectively. It involves having a vision for where the country needs to go."

Obama´s word tintinnabulation: "We are one Nation. And our time for change has come. America, our moment is now."

I´d prefer a president who is able to manage and run the bureaucracy and knows that politics is about reality, real people, real solutions.

Go Hillary!

Barack Obama is a member of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ. Its minister, and Obama's spiritual adviser, Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. In 1982, the church launched Trumpet Newsmagazine, with Wright's daughters now serving as publisher and executive editor. Every year, the magazine makes awards in various categories. Last year, it gave the Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeter Award to a man it said "truly epitomized greatness." That man is Louis Farrakhan.

Maybe for Wright and some others, Farrakhan "epitomized greatness." For most Americans, Farrakhan epitomizes racism, particularly in the form of anti-Semitism. Over the years, he has compiled an awesome record of offensive statements, even denigrating the Holocaust by falsely attributing it to Jewish cooperation with Hitler -- "They helped him get the Third Reich on the road." His history is a rancid stew of lies.

describing the September 11 attacks as a "wake-up call" to America for ignoring the concerns of "people of colour", and for claiming that Americans "believe in white supremacy and black inferiority . . . more than we believe in God".
., Obama offers white voters a chance to free themselves from white guilt!

unbelievable and he is running on uniting all people

THE 14TH AMENDMENT DOES NOT GIVE RIGHTS ONLY PRIV. UNDER THE CONSTITUTION. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW IF THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE YOU ARE VOTING FOR WITH CHANGE THIS LAW QUESTION HIM/HER.

WE GET ARE RIGHTS FROM GOD NOT MAN!

"Mr. Speaker, that the scope and meaning of the limitations imposed by the first section, Fourteenth Amendment of the constitution may be more fully understood, permit me to say that the privileges and immunities of citizens of the United States, as contradistinguished from citizens of a State, are chiefly defined in the first eight amendments to the Constitution of the United States... These eight articles I have shown never were limitations upon the power of the States, until made so by the fourteenth amendment... [6]"

I am still waiting for our political representatives to take a more vocal stance on the reduction of global poverty during their campaigns. Just recently Obama introduced the Global Poverty Act in the Senate, but we do not hear him speak much about that type of foreign policy. According to the Borgen Project, 19 billion dollars would eliminate starvation globally.
