Minnesota's Senate Race On Camera
Minnesota's senate race is expected to be an expensive and nasty affair, with popular, well-funded Republican incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman facing a well-funded Democrat in the form of former funnyman Al Franken.
Both candidates spoke Wednesday in St. Paul, Minn., and their campaigns quickly posted video of the events on the Coleman and Franken YouTube channels (which are both very active).
Franken spoke at the Minnesota State Capitol: "I am so passionate about what we can achieve together," he said.
Coleman launched his reelection campaign in St. Paul.
"Public service is not about celebrity, it's about problem solving," Coleman said, in an indirect reference to his challenger.
