'Dancing's' Savion, oh Savion
No shock here: SI swimsuit model Josie Maran, she of the no muscles and lowest scores (but very, very nice legs) goes home on the first results show of "Dancing With the Stars." The final two: Josie and billionaire Mark Cuban (who owns the Dallas Mavericks). Apparently, you have more of a fan base if you're quoted in Sports Illustrated than if you're photographed in it (wearing a bikini). Or maybe--gasp!--he just danced better. Either way, the judges and the fans sent her home.
So, on to the more important things, namely: Savion Glover. Egads, there is a reason you have to limit the guest star appearances to the results show (okay, other than padding out an hour that could be dealt with in 10 minutes). Nobody, absolutely nobody, would want to be dancing right after Glover, the tap phenomenon who is just breathtaking, let's face it. I'm not sure why the shoes were green (if anyone has an insight into that choice, please enlighten), but he is brilliant.
Then there was Dolly Parton, who was trussed, as usual, so we couldn't miss how creamy and pillowy her upper regions happen to be and how miniscule a waist she's got going on. I need a consult with Post fashion writer Robin Givhan to figure out what she was wearing (or how to describe it appropriately). But I have to confess there is something to a rendition of 9 to 5 by that woman that is pure entertainment in and of itself. (If only Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda had made cameo appearances!)
And in one last fine point, please: no more Kenny Mayne.

She never had a chance, even if she did dance well. Every time it seems that the pretty girl with the least name recognition gets canned the first week.

No more josie! Well, I have no reason to watch this show anymore.
