'Top Model': Bald Is Beautiful, But Oversold
This week on "America's Next Top Model," there were eleven girls left, so it was time to start shaking out the mere pretty girls from the really gifted clothes hangers.
And one really good way to expose all a woman's insecurities (not to mention an ug face) is to mess with girlfriend's hair.
Did we mention the title of this week's episode was "The Girl Who Goes Bald"? But don't worry girls, you're getting your hair done at the Ken Paves Salon!
And you know he makes wigs for Jess Simpson. He could prolly hook you up.
In the end, we were a little let down by the actual makeovers, which made lots of "high-fashion" from heaps of "Midwestern," but left our promised bald girl (pink-haired, sassy-mouthed Bianca) not all that bald.
We were, however, touched when Miss J. Alexander wiped away Bianca's tears. See, Bianca promptly received a wig (thanks, Ken Paves!) and poof, she's still in the running to blah blah blah...
The girls worked their new looks in a photo shoot in which they were supposed to fiercely portray plant life. Playing baby's breath turns out to be rattling, folks. More tears.
So who's emerging as the blossom in this garden of weeds? Heather, the awkwardly striking contestant who has the mild form of autism called Asperger's, has been cleaning up in the viewers polls each week. And she wowed the panel this week managing to look kind of like the Wicked Witch of the West in her photo.
But she's not the one viewers are pegging to win. If you think about it, it's often been the most catty of the girls who manages to beat her competition into submission. Using that theory, we think, at this point, you might call "ANTM" for not-bald-as-promised-but-still-sassy-mouthed Bianca.
Lessons from this week's show: Sarah, losing weight isn't necessarily modelesque. Ebony, rolling your eyes compulsively isn't modelesque. Victoria, a brittle personality is not modelesque. Unless you're Naomi Campbell.
And Victoria is not. But she does go to Yale. And thus, she'll be fine. She's cut at the end of the show, and the number is brought to 10.

Ugh, I'm so glad Victoria is gone! Shut up already! We get it, you think you're better because you go to freaking Yale! Blah.
And ugh, shut up Tyra with your "I think [not losing weight] is a good message to send to people who watch this show." Because you're trying to keep her bigger so she can be a plus-size model! Not because she's at risk of being too skinny!!
