Constipated Couples on 'Grey's Anatomy'
Izzie and George learn the hard way that, unless they're cheating on someone, the sex isn't all that good. In fact, it's terrible. Really. Horrible. Sex.
George longs to tell Izzie that just because she can do something with her legs during sex doesn't mean she should. Izzie, complains George kisses like a chicken.
George decides they need sexual fantasies. It's repulsive. Izzie decides they need sex toys and booze. It's grotesque. Finally, they just start lying to each other about how great the sex is, but they're not even any good at that and accuse each other of lying.

Someone's technique needs work. (ABC/Ron Tom)
Dear lord, are we going to suffer through Gizzie sexual incompatability for weeks and weeks until -- oh wait, there's a writers' strike and Shonda Rhimes has put down her pencil. We're saved!
(While Gizzie tortures us with their sex problems, Callie, George's wife, is nuking her career when she asks Bailey to pretend to be her and take on her chief-resident duties, so she can have some fun in surgery, only Chief finds out and cans Callie and gives her job to Bailey.)
McDreamy and Chief are pecking at each other from their adjacent trailers at Bachelor Park. Chief doesn't like how McDreamy is dealing with his dry cleaning; McDreamy's irked that Chief enters his trailer without knocking when McDreamy's in bed with Meredith.
Meredith, meanwhile, can't find anything to be unhappy about in re McDreamy this week, so she's focused on being unhappy to be saddled with a half sister at the hospital, Meredith Lite, who not only got dad but is now shagging Meredith's housemates and generally making a nuisance of herself, only it turns out dad is an alcoholic and Meredith Lite has it pretty bad at home. Will Meredith find out before Shonda stops writing scripts?
McSteamy, meanwhile, has officially developed a thing for Dr. Hahn, and tries to pick her up in a bar by telling her she has "extraordinary technique." Does that line actually work for guys? Anybody out there?
On the patient front, an actual constipated patient and a facelift shrew, have sex. Get it? They're middle aged, unattractive and mock-worthy and yet they have wild crazy sex, while George and Izzie are young and pretty, but have lousy sex. It's called irony.
And a woman comes into the ER with her tiny adopted baby who was injured when they fell, only mom dies and her husband doesn't want the baby until Meredith gets him to tell him five things he knows about the infant, which inspires Meredith Lite to tell Meredith five things about her so Meredith will like her.
Preview of next week's "Grey's Anatomy": Kid is sent to ER with a pencil jammed in his eye. We think it's a metaphor for the writers' strike.

I don't think there are ANY grown-up writers for this show, only adolsecent girls. Stupid is as stupid does.

I LOVE this blog...it mocks the tragedy that has become of Grey's Anatomy in such an entertaining (and extremeley accurate) way that I now watch Grey's Anatomy just to read the blogs!

Were Burke and Addison really the two most interesting characters on the show? It appears they have left a bigger void than anybody could have imagined.

I have serious doubts that this show will be picked up next season.
It doesn't have nearly the staying power as ER. Despite what my wife says.
It's pathetic. What a cheap rif off of so many other better hospital based shows!
At this rate, in a month I think I'd rather watch General Hospital!

It is sad that the only way George and Izzie can have sex is when their drunk and guilt is involved. Karma does have a way of coming back hard.
I'm interested in seeing how Bailey handles these new duties since things at home seem to be hitting the skids.
Unless Meredith Lite's father has always been a pain in the rectum drunk, I don't feel for her. The man left one family like they no longer existed and started a new one. So now that her mom is dead and he's a drunk Meredith Lite gets to play the pity card? Don't think so.

Okay, I voted for the dying in a Space Needle accident. But, can we avoid the two hour episode. It can happen off screen. Preferably with the characters barely being referred to as is Addision these days.

I come home Thurs. night from volunteering and ask my wife "Are you watching one of the 2 worst shows on television?" (the other being "Private Practice") and she says "yes, I'm enjoying it..." poor her, LOL...

This show has gotten so bad that the new season interns haven't even shown up in the last two episodes. Unless I missed it, the only one of them that gets any screen time is Meredith Lyte. It would have at least been interesting to see the writers develop some new characters. Izzie/George/Meredith are played out. Did they (like the rest of us)discover that the show stinks and defect to Private Practice??

I find myself questioning how I could have enjoyed this show so much last season. But it was good, once, wasn't it? I don't know if it can be saved. I think either George or Izzy MUST GO!! Most likely George, since Izzy got the emmy. I hope Calley is gone for good - she didn't add much to the show. I'm hoping for the best.

I live in Seattle and I'm starting to hope that Gizzie die in a freak boating accident.
That said, it's good to see Bailey back and a major player - missed her.
And I wish they'd kill off Gizzie so we can have Callie get to actually act and show the potential we all know she has.

Maybe it's good that these events are set in a hospital because George and Izzie are sickening.
