'Top Model': Relive It All Over Again

The finale is six weeks away, the argument goes, so why not revisit all six of the episodes of "America's Next Top Model" that have run to date? Catch everyone up on what's happened so far?

Yeah, that, and it happens to be Halloween, and it's pretty much a sure bet that the "ANTM" crowd has put on its fishnets and miniskirts and headed out for the night. This episode was so redundant it nearly made us want to dig up a costume and go out.

Strictly professional: Tyson admires the models' work (Michael Yarish/The CW)

Luckily, it was also the outtakes episode, and there were some insights into what really happened so far this season (though most of the "added value" here was inane and edited out for good reason). What was worth seeing:

If you've been keeping track of Bianca's relentless tyranny of her housemates, there was something deliciously funny in seeing her in Episode One, on her way to the Caribbean, telling Ebony, "You don't gotta be a bitch to be competitive." It's totally evidence of deep insecurities, Bianca announces.

And how strange it is to see Ebony rude, catty and generally smug. She's the same girl who later hears from Jay Manuel and others that she lacks personality? The competition, apparently, so beat the spirit/bad attitude out of Ebony that she had to quit and run out of panel last week. Save yourself -- your horrible self -- Ebony!

Of Bianca, we saw another side, too. She's a klutz, running into a glass door and leaving a detailed print of her face, much to her roommates' delight. Later, she relaxes over a game with the other girls and admits that she adopted such a hard exterior because she was picked on as a child.

Less pertinent but entertaining nonetheless: Saleisha's weave is too tight. She doesn't use this as an excuse for egregious behavior, but to think of her silent suffering, it's touching, really.

And the juiciest outtake of all, enough to make all you witches and dirty nurses wish you had stayed home: a whole house of slender, modelesque girls drooled over Tyson Beckford when he came to visit last week. But Tyson? He took a fancy to plus-size Sarah. Seems she "made an impression" on old Tyson. Hope it makes an impression on America, too. Being skinny, it isn't everything.

I would just like to point out that Sarah is a size 8. That is hardly plus-sized. Yes, she may be larger than the other girls on that show, but she is smaller than normal in the real world.

I'm not surprised Tyson liked Sarah. Without makeup, she is easily the prettiest girl of the bunch.

Sweetie's totally right. The word is that Sarah is a size 8 and not anything we'd ever consider plus size. Really, she's the model who best represents a "real girl" -- a really beautiful real girl. But for the purposes of the show, she's selling herself to the judges as plus size; that's not a label I've given her.

i thought ebony would have been a finalist considering her figure and her face. i am disappointed that she dropped out, almost to the point of wanting to scream at her for wasting the slot for some other deserving young lady.

i thought a recap was pointless. i hate these kind of filler shows just to stretch the rest of the season. i watch because of the photoshoots and not their little quirks and personality flaws. it's all about face.
