'Celebrity Apprentice': The Post-'Gene Simmons Kiss-Off' Version

Wish I had a quote of the week or even an Omarosa moment of the week, but just didn't happen. Sigh. What was The Donald thinking when Gene Simmons was let go?

Vinnie took over the men's team, providing a moment of hope that there would be hilarious, smart-mouth comments. Alas, no.

The women lost again. AGAIN. The only time, thus far, the women have managed to not lose one of their own was when Simmons took over and fired himself. And, at that point, he was helming the women. Hmm.

Anyway, in keeping with the (non-Gene Simmons) "Celeb Apprentice" theme (aka, lose the most vanilla person involved) -- softball star Jennie was the one to go after the women raised less money in the challenge than did the men.

And -- sigh -- Stephen Baldwin's head did not spin off into a million pieces and they didn't strip Lennox Lewis to a lower-and-lower pimped-out level, which appeared to be Hydra's method of choice in the early going. But this time, they gave it over to Vinnie, who muddled through, and Piers, who donned knight attire to stay in.
