'Apprentice': Something Borrowed, Someone Blue . . .

So returning to where we last left off, with the commercial tease of Stephen Baldwin quitting . . .

Trump wouldn't let him quit. Instead, he let him go be on the women's team, which is apparently the alternate version of quitting (see: Gene Simmons). But Stephen decided not to become the Queen Bee for the Day, instead just relaxing and not doing much, so he didn't get fired. Hmmm, do we sense a trend?

Instead, Trump did what is becoming rapidly evident in this celeb version: when he can fire whom he chooses, he fires the most boring or annoying TV personality he can.

So, bye-bye, Nely Galan.

The task was to please Vera Wang, whose name, of course, is synonymous with wedding dresses. So the ladies went wedding, and the guys went . . . well, Cleopatra in bed. Guess who won?? Lesson learned: Even if you have Carol Alt in the dress, it doesn't Trump sexual innuendo.

Wonderfully, Omarosa reverted from last episode's niceness to being a witch again, which is what makes her so fabulous. She was in perfect 2-year-old pout-and-stomp mode, which, I have to assume, is why Trump didn't fire her, even though she keeps offering to be project manager and keeps screwing it up.

Meanwhile, does anyone else think that Trace can ride this thing out on his ravine-deep voice alone?

I don't know what Trace really does (heck I didn't "recognize" the boxers or the British guy, either) - but he should consider a career in advertising. Perhaps it's just due to clever editing - but week after week, he appears to (1) listen and then (2) pull a great slogan and concept out of his cowboy hat. I am not sure why his team seems to limit him to slogans - he seems the most creative of all. Somebody please b**** slap the Brit - who is now the 2nd most annoying "cousin" on American TV. And here's to Trace being PM next week!
