'Celebrity Apprentice': Time for the Final Four

Piers opens this week's episode with a whole lot of gloating over the demise of Omarosa, to the point that it really annoys his fellow contestants, particularly Trace.

But on to the new task: Sandwich time! Don't they have a challenge like this pretty much every season? Then again, in other seasons, they couldn't just put a few slices of turkey and some cheddar cheese on a roll and declare it The Champ. Because, you know, who cares what the sandwich tastes like it -- it's all about selling Lennox. Again!

Trump declares this challenge -- to make a new version of the Quiznos quick $2 sandwich and see who can sell the most in two hours -- to be a no-Rolodex challenge. But that doesn't make it any less of a gimme to team Hydra, which has proved extremely adept at using its "assets," be they in PIers's BlackBerry or underneath Lennox's shirt. So Hydra (PIers, Lennox and Carol Alt) make Lennox the name and face of the sandwich.

Empresario, meanwhile (now down to just Trace and Stephen), does the best it can with its "Cowboy" sandwich and Trace's charm. But as Trace himself admits, he just doesn't stop traffic in NYC the way he would in Nashville. (Personally, I would have had Trace bring out his guitar and play on the sidewalk in front of the storefront, but that's just me).

Bottom line: Hydra sells more little Quiznos sammies and Trump is forced to fire Trace or Stephen. In an extremely civilized boardroom (it's amazing what it can be like if neither Piers nor Omarosa wind up in there), Trump eventually axes Stephen over Trace, who was project manager, because Trace has personally drummed up much more money for charity than Stephen over the past several weeks.

Meanwhile, back at the penthouse, the Chosen Four get the summons to return to the boardroom, where Trump announces that he's firing two more contestants that very night (for viewers at home, that means next week's episode), setting up the head-to-head finale.

i like to see carol and piers in the final two. celebrity apprentice is about raising money and no question that piers is by far the best. carol has a strategy which brought her this far even though her performance is rather lacklusted some days. i think she is saving her connections for when and if she makes it to the final. be an interesting final if she and piers are in.

Obviously it has to be between trace and piers, though I am voting for trace. No doubt about it every1 loves him, and the fact that he is the one that focuses on the charity proportion of it is another reason why he should be in the top 2! Go Trace!

Overall, Baldwin deserves to be in the finals. He was undefeated as project leader and was directly responsible for a few of his teams victories when their project leaders didn't step up to the task. If overall fund-raising is considered (not just the past few weeks), Baldwin was certainly at the top. I doubt anyone can blame him for not tapping into his network for Omarosa's benefit. Good riddance to that ghetto cow. Her true colors came out on the show and I'd be disappointed if anyone ever employed her.

I want to see Trace Adkins and Carol Alt in the top two. I am not a country music lover but, Trace has to be the most passionate about his charity and I think he is a genuine person. Carol may give him a bit of competition but, she's not as strategic as Trace. We shall see either way. Go Trace!!!!
