Morning click: Courtney Love brings back Hole, Lil Wayne as Jesus, Katy Perry finds love
Hole - and yet another reunion. Well, sort of.
- Courtney Love is still around. Her latest solo album, "Nobody's Daughter," is forever "coming soon" but it looks like she's definitely resurrecting her old band, Hole. Or at least the name. Love and, well, three other people not known for being in Hole, will perform three European shows in February, the first Hole gigs in 11 years. Ex-guitarist Eric Erlandson has tried to get Love to not use the old moniker, but what's the use in arguing with her, right?
- Lil Wayne will voice a character named Jesus on "Return of Freaknik," an upcoming Cartoon Network show produced by his former tourmate T-Pain. "All we can say is that he is named Jesus and not Jesus Christ," a network spokesman said, insisting that the character is merely an up-and-coming rapper named Jesus and not the son of God.
- Sick of reading about deaths? How about happier news ... we think? "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot N Cold" hitmaker Katy Perry is engaged to comedian Russell Brand. Like all relationships built to last, this one began at the MTV Video Music Awards. All the best!
