Morning click: In it for the long haul at Coachella, Sarandon spanks man-pig at Of Montreal show

GorillazGorillaz: one of Coachella's featured acts in 2010.

- Coachella is eliminating single-day ticket sales for the 2010 edition of its festival. Festival organizers say that 80% of past ticket sales have been of the three-day variety and that the move is being done to help make the festival better for people who buy three-day passes. Which will be everyone this year. Not everyone was thrilled with the change and took out their frustrations the only way they know how - complaining on Internet message boards. Headliners for 2010 Coachella include Jay-Z, Muse and Gorillaz; you can still let us know how you'd curate this year's lineup.

- Indie spectacle kings Of Montreal visit 9:30 club tonight. Will Susan Sarandon be there? Almost certainly not, but she was at Tuesday's New York show, doing what famous actresses always do at rock shows - getting on stage and using a ruler to spank a person in a pig suit. Same old, same old. If you're going to tonight's show, let us know if anything especially outrageous happens.

- Living legend coming to town alert - Kinks mastermind Ray Davies comes to the Birchmere on March 1. His show at 9:30 club in December 2008 was a winner. Tickets go on sale Friday at noon.
