Riffs: How does Prince's Vikings anthem measure up with Bootsy Vegas's "Hail to the Redskins" go-go remix?

Bootsy Vegas is better than Prince ... when it comes to writing songs about football teams.
As this year's NFL season winds down, a pattern emerges: Losing teams will be serenaded with really cool songs performed by incredibly obscure artists while winning teams will be serenaded with dreadful songs written by legendary superstars.
Exhibit A: Local impresario Bootsy Vegas's go-go take on "Hail to the Redskins."
Exhibit B: Prince's freshly-penned ode to the Minnesota Vikings, "Purple and Gold."

Bootsy Vegas. No contest. I love Prince, but that song just makes me feel creepy.
