Morning click: "Everybody Hurts" redux charts higher than original; Gaga to headline Lollapalooza; Wayne Coyne's house looks like an iPod

Helping Haiti

- The Helping Haiti charity cover of R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts" reached #1 on the UK singles chart this week, faring better than the 1993 original which topped at #7 on the Brit charts (and #29 in the U.S.). The cover, thrown together by American Idol judge Simon Cowell, includes cameos from Mariah Carey, Jon Bon Jovi, Kylie Minogue, Miley Cyrus and the reunited members of Take That, among others.

- The Daily Swarm reports that Lady Gaga, Green Day, and a reunited Soundgarden will headline Lollapalooza 2010. Fair warning: The site has also got some slightly racy photos from Gaga's performance at the Chicago festival in '07-- before she was megafamous, not to mention blond.

- It's a slow music news morning, so just look at these pictures of the uber modern/Apple Store-ish/of-course-Wayne-Coyne-lives-there house belonging to The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne and his wife J. Michelle Martin-Coyne. All I've got to say is... if you're going to visit the Coyne residence, bring your sunglasses and a bottle of white wine.
