More golden nuggets this week: an awesome early B-side from the great Tom Jones, arty no wave funk from 80s group The Dance, Isolée's bouncing-off-the-walls minimal house, a beauty from Appalachian dulcimer player Jean Ritchie, and my favorite song from Standing Nudes, who lost half their band to MGMT a couple years ago but have semi-reformed as the very cool Acrylics, currently on tour with Morning Benders.
Tom Jones "Stop Breaking My Heart"
The Dance "Do Dada"
Isolée "Surfers"
Jean Ritchie "The Merry Golden Tree"
Standing Nudes "I'm Not There"
