Clicky shuffle

Welcome to our daily micro-column, the Clicky shuffle. Each morning, a Click Track contributor shares the first five songs that pop up on their portable mp3 device.

Wanna play along? Share five random songs of your own in the comments.

By Joe Heim

I have 5,143 songs on my iPod right now and only about a dozen of those are Madonna songs. And yet somehow they always seem to pop up in my shuffle. Does Madonna have a deal with iTunes?

- Alan Jackson, "Hard Hat and a Hammer"
- Beach Boys, "Don't Talk (Put Your Head on My Shoulder)"
- Big Star, "Love Revolution"
- David Allan Coe, "She Used To Love Me A Lot"
- Madonna, "Like a Prayer"
