Clicky shuffle

Welcome to our daily micro-column, the Clicky shuffle. Each morning, a Click Track contributor shares the first five songs that pop up on their portable mp3 device.

Wanna play along? Share five random songs of your own in the comments.

By David Malitz

That's right, out of the 18,388 songs on my iPod, two of the first five that came up were by the wonderful late-'70s/early-'80s primitive/DIY/post-punk band. Read more about them and give a listen, really good stuff.

Times New Viking, "Not High"
Animals and Men, "Bad Lover"
The Fall, "Taurig"
Animals and Men, "It's Hip"
Spiritualized, "Broken Heart"
