Yep, this is basically what my iTunes looks like. A bunch of noisy songs and singers who can't really sing. The Times New Viking track is a rager.
The Delgados, "Make Your Move"
The Vaselines, "Let's Ge Ugly" (live)
Comet Gain, "Radar"
Times New Viking, "We Got Rocket"
Eat Skull, "Jerusalem Mall"

I don't believe in random. In honor of March 5, here's the 3:05 mix:
Television - Glory
Sonic Youth - Drunken Butterfly
Peter Tosh - Why Must I Cry
The Replacements - Can't Hardly Wait
The Stone Roses - Elephant Stone

That is an excellent idea, M_S_P. Can I do more? Here are 5 of my 5-star-rated 3:05 songs: "Barstool Blues" - Neil Young, "Independence Day" - Elliott Smith, "Tractor Rape Chain" - Guided By Voices, "Born to Lose" - Johnny Thunders, "Madonna of the Wasps" - Robyn Hitchcock.
That would be a fun way to do this ... at least from February through May. December would be a lot of Can and Spacemen 3.

"Tractor Rape Chain" is also on my 3:05 list. "Barstool Blues" is on my 9:02 list (live version from Year of the Horse).
Starting in August, I'd have to do one list per week. Maybe one list per month in November and December.
