Coda: Learning about Latin hip-hop and Gilberto Gil's influence, Titus Andronicus goes big
Readers like Lil Wayne's chances of making a great post-prison album. (Sarah L. Voisin)
We had quite the intriguing lineup of interview subjects this week. Gordon Brega talked Latin hip-hop, Gilberto Gil discussed his influence on younger artists and Dam-Funk enlightened us to the joys of Todd Rundgren. We debated who would make the better post-prison album -- Lil Wayne, T.I., Gucci Mane or Lil Boosie. Voters heavily favored Weezy. Justin Townes Earle and Title Tracks put on good shows. Gorillaz put out a decent album, while Titus Andronicus released what will surely be one of the year's best. And, as always, we keep on doing the Clicky shuffle. And enjoy hearing what you're listening to as well. See you next week -- Chris and David will be taking off for SXSW on Wednesday, so expect some fun updates from there. See you next week!
