Guru (Keith Elam) will undergo surgery today after suffering a heart attack over the weekend.

- Guru, the 43-year-old MC who was one half of the wildly influential rap group Gang Starr, will undergo surgery today after suffering a heart attack yesterday and falling into a coma. The news was confirmed by DJ Premier, Guru's longtime collaborator in Gang Starr.

- R&B star Ne-Yo was detained in Norway over the weekend after an incident involving a member of his entourage. A busboy got punched in a nightclub, and although Ne-Yo isn't suspected of any violence, Norwegian authorities still wanted some words with him.

- British pop star Lily Allen and walking disaster Courtney Love are engaging in a war of words lately. First Love said that Allen had an arrangement where nobody could wear a Chanel dress to last month's Brit Awards. Ouch! So Allen responded in the only logical way - calling Love a "crazy old lady" and "drug addled lunatic" on Twitter.
