Sick Tom Jones postpones concerts; Prince fans lash out after fanclub glitch

- Reuters reports that Tom Jones has rescheduled concerts in Manila and Singapore due to laryngitis. Jones's illness follows other bad news for his new multi-billion dollar resort in Singapore, which was forced to close one of its attractions last week, the tallest dueling rollercoaster in the world, after a technical problem was discovered.
- Prince fans are raging after an error on the Artist's fanclub website charged ex-members for another year's membership last week. Daily Swarm has a roundup of some of the especially heinous vitriol being thrown in Prince's direction on Prince.org. Yes, people seem to think Prince personally ran everyone's credit cards through a machine in a plotted effort to rip them off.

Many fans are upset yes that is true and yes there are a lot of "fans" on Prince.org that are very vocal in their views and aggreviences but this in no way represents all Prince fans. Many of us realise this was a mistake and not a mistake made personally by Prince. I think some people are too ready to jump on the bang wagon and do a bit of Prince bashing, but not all of us feel that way. Yes it was a mistake that our credit cards have been deducted another years subscription but an apology has been quite quick and I am sure they are doing everything they can to ensure the fans get their money back. Time patience and a little "love3one another" might not go amis. There will always be people who no matter how much they love his music do not agree with some of his actions and many others that can see that many of the mistakes are not necessarily down to the one man. I love Prince for sharing his music with us all and have learnt to take all his other adventures with a large pinch of salt if they work out great if not well good that he tried. There is still a lot of love out there for Prince this is merely a lovers tiff. Peace n love to y'all.
