Clicky shuffle: Random songs for Monday morning
By Ally Schweitzer
Clarence Carter-- he of Strokin' fame-- belts out a strong version of "Till I Can't Take It Anymore." Gets me teary every time. (Not really-- but what a great song.) But of course, that's the one I can't find streaming online, so check out power pop band Shoes instead-- "Too Late" is a brain-sticker from their 1979 album "Present Tense." Then share your shuffle in the comments.
- Clarence Carter, "Till I Can't Take It Anymore"
- The Feelies, "Too Far Gone"
- John Cale, "Ship of Fools"
- Shoes, "Too Late"
- Marine Girls, "In Love"
