Riffs: Know your Roots!

Members of The Roots tweeted about it and vigilant bloggers from Washington to New York picked up on it: A photo caption on WashingtonPost.com that misidentified Roots bassist Owen Biddle for actor Giovanni Ribisi. At least we didn't confuse Tuba Gooding with Cuba Gooding?
While we fall on our sword, please read our glowing keystrokes about the Roots. We reviewed their marvelous Earth Day Climate Rally performance on the National Mall. Back in December, we spent some time with bandleader Questlove on the set of "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." And on Sunday, we even lobbied President Obama to book the band for a gig at the White House.
