Clicky shuffle: Random songs for Wednesday morning
By Joe Heim
Alejandro Escovedo leads off the morning shuffle. If I could only go to one more concert, I just might choose to go see Escovedo, who combines genius and spirit like almost no one else. So, for today, in addition to posting your first five songs, let's hear who you would go see if you could only attend one more show.
Alejandro Escovedo, "Last to Know (Ballad of Buick Mackane)"
The Flaming Lips, "Buggin'"
Glen Campbell, "Southern Nights"
Neko Case, "John Saw That Number"
Ass Ponys, "Earth To Grandma"

Hot Snakes -- Kreative Kontrol
Swell Season --When Your Mind's Made Up
Bikini Kill -- Demirep
The National -- Daughters of the Soho Riots
Richard Hawley -- I Sleep Alone
I'd have to pick Canada's Elliott Brood. Great music, amazing energy.

Morrissey "Irish Blood, English Heart"
The Microphones "I Felt Your Shape"
Dizzee Rascal "Jus' a Rascal"
Rage Against the Machine "Take the Power Back"
Busdriver "Note Boom"
I guess we're talking artists who are still playing concerts today, right? In that case I'd say Radiohead, though if it's any band ever, probably Talking Heads
