Clicky shuffle: Random songs for Friday morning
By Chris Richards
I spent some time following Swedish pop duo jj around SXSW in March and caught frontwoman Elin Kastlander singing Jeremih's 2009 R&B hit "Birthday Sex" to herself a couple times. During our interviews, she failed to mention that she and bandmate Joakim Benon would soon be releasing this wonderful cover version.
- jj, "ceo birthday" (Cover of Jeremih's "Birthday Sex")
- Thin Lizzy, "Romeo and the Lonely Girl"
- Pill, "Glass"
- Friendly Fires, "Paris (Aeroplane remix featuring Au Revoir Simone)"
- Stooges, "I Wanna Be Your Dog"
