Clicky shuffle: Random songs for Friday morning

By David Malitz

Archers of Loaf - the best '90s indie rock band that wasn't Pavement? Nation of Ulysses - the best of the D.C. punk bands? Discuss.

The White Stripes, "I Can Learn"
Archers of Loaf, "A Death in the Park"
Bob Dylan & the Band, "On a Rainy Afternoon"
Nation of Ulysses, "Today I Met the Girl I'm Going to Marry"
Teenage Fanclub, "What You Do to Me"

That's a good group to start a day with.

The Archers are/were great but aren't you discounting Superchunk?? Either way I'd take both over Pavement.

Death From Above 1979 "Go Home, Get Down"
Times New Viking "Teen Drama"
Slayer "Epidemic"
Talking Heads "Artists Only"
Slowdive "Good Day Sunshine"

Yo La Tengo is way better than all those groups.

Sometimes I'm feeling Archers, sometimes Superchunk, sometimes GBV. YLT amazing too, of course. Nice TNV/Slayer back to back.
