Ellen DeGeneres launches record label
By Chris Richards
After her first season as a judge on American Idol, Ellen DeGeneres has decided to try her hand in a thriving, robust industry: the record business. The daytime TV personality announced plans to launch her own label, called eleveneleven, on her television show today. Her first signee is 12-year-old Greyson Chance, the recent YouTube phenom who became Internet-famous for his cover of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi." (See it above.) Expect more angelic-voiced boys with shaggy haircuts to be signed in the coming months.
