Ke$ha's weird new video; T.I. talks to Larry King; Sleigh Bells tickets on sale

By David Malitz

- So Ke$ha's new video (above) for "Your Love Is My Drug" is very ... Ke$ha-y. You have to give her credit - she's already at the point where you can simply add an "-y" to the end of her name to use it as an adjective and people will know exactly what you mean. There's an elephant and a snake and bodypaint and some guy who looks like he might know Devendra Banhart and then it sort of becomes like the cover of MGMT's "Congratulations." She'll be at Jiffy Lube Live opening for Rihanna on Aug. 20.

- "So why risk it, T?" That would be Larry King interviewing T.I. on last night's episode of "Larry King Live." It may seem an odd choice for the rapper's first extensive interview since being released from prison but it proved surprisingly enlightening. T.I. told King that when he attempted to illegally purchase firearms he was in "...a state of depression and paranoia." T.I. also told King that he is "a gangster no more."

- Want to see one of the most hyped bands of 2010? New York duo Sleigh Bells will bring its crushingly loud electro-party-rock to Rock and Roll Hotel on July 2. Tickets go on sale this morning at 10 a.m. It's doubtful they will last too long.
