Coda: Lists about inappropriate campaign songs, oil songs and kid-actors-turned-musicians; Carole and James turn back the clock
Carole King and James Taylor will be back in D.C. on June 23. (Nikki Kahn/TWP)
It got a little listy in these parts this week. We looked at the year's most inappropriate campaign songs, some teen actors turned musicians and, finally, oil spill songs. Our World Cup fever may already be waning (stupid ties) but not before we picked our favorite football anthems. Carole King and James Taylor played to an adoring sold-out crowd at Verizon Center. Also reviewed: Jeff Beck, Broken Bells and the National. See you next week...
