Conan teams with Jack White; Kanye to perform at BET Awards; My Morning Jacket revisits entire catalogue

conanConan has been joined by musical guests at many stops on his tour. (By Bill O'Leary/TWP)

- Conan O'Brien's "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television" tour has had its fair share of special musical guests so far, including the likes of Vampire Weekend, Spoon and Trey Anastasio. His guest tomorrow night in Nashville won't be a surprise. On Wednesday Conan announced on Twitter that he and Jack White will be "doing something cool tomorrow. Hint: it involves a LOT of Tears for Fears songs." That seems unlikely but would be kind of awesome. This video doesn't shed too much more light.

- It had been a while since we heard from Kanye West. Then he returned with the monster King Crimson sampling "Power" and now he'll be making his first big public appearance since "I'mma let you finish"-gate at the BET Awards on June 27.

- My Morning Jacket has gone from a little band with a big sound to a big band with a bigger sound. The reverb-loving arena rockers will reflect on their career with five October shows at New York's Terminal 5, performing one album at each show. Best of the bunch? Gotta be 2001's "At Dawn."

I cast my vote for It Still Moves. At Dawn probably second though.
